At Harmony Healing Homes Ltd, our street outreach training equips individuals and groups with the practical skills and heart needed to serve vulnerable communities — including street families, homeless individuals, and those facing extreme hardship. You will learn how to approach people with dignity, build trust, identify needs, and connect them to appropriate support services.
This training is ideal for volunteers, community workers, church groups, caregivers, and anyone passionate about making a difference beyond the home. We combine classroom learning with practical guidance so you are prepared for the realities of street outreach in Kenya.
Let us help you bring hope and practical support to those who need it most.
Our training prepares you to reach out with compassion and safety. You will learn how to engage people on the streets, assess urgent needs, offer basic support, and refer individuals to medical care, rehabilitation, counselling, or shelter services. We emphasise respect, listening, and practical help — not judgement.
Our street outreach training is open to anyone with a heart for serving others. No prior experience is required. It is especially valuable for volunteers, community health workers, church outreach teams, caregivers, students, and NGO staff. All we ask is a willingness to learn, serve, and treat every person with dignity.
Upon successful completion, you will receive a certificate recognising your street outreach training. Graduates can serve in community outreach programs, church ministries, NGOs, and our own medical camps and street outreach initiatives. This training also provides a strong foundation for those pursuing further work in social services, counselling, or community development.
